Derogatory People

I have this "friend", she is actually the wife of a friend, who puts down all kinds of people. I'm really tired of listening to her. I was at her house one night and she was talking about how they hate Walmart and they try to stay as far away from it as possible. I shop at Walmart all the time, but she makes me feel as though I cannot say anything about it because she will make a debate out of it and argue with you for an hour until you give in to her. They were given a futon, a red Wii, and a flat screen TV for Christmas from her husband's parents. She got mad because all she wanted was the futon. She claims that his parents gave them all this stuff to guilt trip them for having Christmas with her family first and not coming to their house until the day after Christmas. When we were over at their house my husband was helping her husband unpack the Wii and hook it up. She calls out from the kitchen that they better not have taken it out of the box because they were going to take it back. My husband just looked at her husband and said "really?!?" and her husband said "its ok" and started putting it away. That was a freaking gift from his parents, that is just wrong that she would even suggest taking it back. Then last week when I was at work she started texting me because she was bring her mom up to the hospital for a test. She sent me a text that said "someone needs to alert the HR department that the ditzy peppy happy techs we keep getting are less than reassuring, i have a barbie doll cheerleader taking my mom for a lumbar puncture. Scared yet? I am". First off just because someone it pretty, blond, and happy doesn't mean they are ditzy or a cheerleader. Secondly she was the tech, she wasn't doing the procedure so what does it matter anyway? Just because you aren't a happy person doesn't mean everyone else can't be either. Then she wrote me another text about how gross it was that the nurse didn't use gloves to stick her mom. She used to be an aide and said she never had to take her glove off to feel a vein. That's great that she's a good stick and she is able to feel through the glove, but some people aren't. Plus the gloves are to protect the person that is sticking, not the patient, and she should know that since she was an aide. I feel like gloves are a sign to your patient that you are grossed out by them and unless you know there is something they can actually give you what is the point in wearing them. Even when they do have something they can give you it is very unlikely that you will get it. There was one other thing she said that really bothered me. On New Years Eve when we were at their house she said she was ready to start a new year because 2010 was the worst year she ever had. She said this right in front of her husband whom she married in 2010 and took her on a honeymoon to Prague because that is where she wanted to go and who bends to her every want and need.

About me

I'm 25 years old. I've been married for 7 years to my high school sweetheart. We have two beautiful daughters and will not be having any more children. My husband recently had a vasectomy. My daughters are 3 years and almost 3 months. On a side note, the baby just started rolling over yesterday. My 3 year old is in preschool, but today is a snow day.  I am a nurse and I work weekends and 1 day during the week. My husband is currently working Monday-Friday and will hopefully be starting the police academy in March. The day during the week that I work my wonderful mother watches the kids. My 3 year old low muscle tone in her mouth and is in speech therapy, she is extremely hyperactive, she is also aggressive at times, and may have sensory integration issues. She is very difficult to deal with. Yesterday she threw my phone at my face and intentionally scratched her sister's head. She is also extremely resistant to potty training. I have very large children. My 3 year old is 40 inches and 38 pounds, and my 3 month old is about 25 inches and 14 pounds. That's about all I can think of right now.

Pranked

My husband just prank called me from work disguising his voice. Said I have $534 in unpaid parking tickets and a warrant has been issued for my arrest. He scared the shit out of me. I was wondering how the hell he had racked up so many tickets, because I knew I hadn't gotten any. Of course I believed it was a real call because I know he does have parking tickets that he throws away, but then he was giving be dates of tickets that I know we weren't downtown. I was starting to get suspicious when he finally quit the act. Anyway, I just wanted to get that out there. My next post will be an introduction.
